Just a little note

At the end of school, I wrote a number of letters. Letters to each of the reporters, editors, and adviser who had worked so diligently to make our paper a success. As quick and convenient as email is, there's something much more personal about an old-fashioned handwritten letter. Just a little note to let them know that we notice how hard they work and how much we appreciate their efforts. Thanks for a wonderful year, stupendous staffers!

  2. Olá amiga! Tens um belíssimo espaço, lincas fotos, porém acho que seria melhor se colocasses um tradudor, pois ficaria bem mais fácil para entender e comentar.

    Beijos,

  4. there is something about handwritten letters. my grandmother is the only person anymore that really writes them... and in honor of her, i'm trying to write more handwritten letters too. i truly love getting them myself, so i'm sure everyone else i know would love it too. beautiful photos of your letter writing.

  5. Thank you for visiting my site and commenting. I absolutely love your photographic choices here...and your blog header is off of my daily wish list!

Letters are more personal, I agree, and we can't let the art of letter-writing die. I still love pretty writing paper and cards, and create note cards quite on purpose! Keep up the tradition! Well done.

  6. I'm another that agrees about letter-writing. For those really personal and important things, there's nothing quite like receiving something written by another's hand. And people do treasure them. They can be taken out years later, and the thought of that special person having held it can keep the memory alive.

Only one other thing I'd add... a letter written with a fountain pen seems to me to be extra special.
